Privacy Policy

Stay Healthy Vegan (“we”, “our”, “the site”) is operated by JR Digital Services Pty Ltd (ABN 15 677 761 787, “the operator”). This policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information we collect

Information you provide. If you contact us by email, we collect the email address you write from and the contents of your message. We use this only to reply to you.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we automatically collect:

  • IP address (for security + traffic analysis)
  • Browser type, operating system, device type
  • Pages you visit, time spent, referring URL
  • Anonymised analytics events (page views, link clicks)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for traffic analytics and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage measurement tags. GA4 is configured with IP anonymisation. We do not pass personally-identifiable information to GA4.

Cookies. We use a small number of cookies for analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser without breaking the site — analytics will simply not record your visit.

How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries you send us
  • To analyse aggregate site traffic patterns and improve content
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

When you click an Amazon affiliate link on this site and make a purchase, Amazon may share aggregated commission data with us so we can attribute referrals. We do not see your name, address, or payment details. Read more in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Meal planner

The Mixed-Table Meal Planner works without an account. Here is what happens to what you enter:

  • What you send. You choose ingredients, flavours, allergies, time, skill, servings and guest numbers from fixed lists. There is no free-text box, so the planner never receives your name or other personal details.
  • AI processing. Those choices are sent to Anthropic (Claude) to write the meal ideas. If Anthropic is unavailable or our daily budget is used up, they go to Cloudflare Workers AI instead. Neither provider receives your IP address or any account details from us. Anthropic states that it does not train its models on data sent through its commercial API.
  • What we store. We keep the combination of choices and the generated plan for up to 30 days so the same combination loads instantly next time and so we can see which meals are popular (the best ones may become tested recipes on this site). This cache is not linked to you: it holds no IP address, user agent or identity.
  • Abuse protection. To stop automated abuse we keep a daily counter per visitor, keyed by a salted, one-way hash of your IP address that changes every day and expires after about 26 hours. We may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving bot check, before generating a plan.
  • Share links. A share link contains your choices (not the plan or anything about you). Anyone with the link can see the same plan.
  • “Email me this plan”. If you choose to give us your email address and tick the consent box, we store your address, the plan link and the time you signed up, and add you to our meal-plan mailing list (tag “meal-planner”). We use it to send you the plan link and occasional meal ideas. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time. Our emails never contain affiliate links.
  • Amazon. The products in the “You’ll need” list are matched by our server from a list we picked in advance. Nothing you enter is sent to Amazon. If you click a link, Amazon’s own privacy notice applies on Amazon.

Third-party services

The site uses these third-party services:

  • Cloudflare — content delivery and DDoS protection
  • Google Analytics 4 — traffic analytics (anonymised)
  • Google Tag Manager — tag management
  • Amazon Associates — affiliate-link attribution
  • Anthropic — AI processing of meal planner choices (no personal data)
  • Cloudflare Workers AI and Turnstile — backup AI processing and bot protection for the meal planner

Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@stayhealthyvegan.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are an EU/UK resident, you have rights under the GDPR/UK-GDPR including the right to object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
