My journey to a plant-based diet wasn’t something I planned, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Like many people, I used to be a ‘meat and cheese' lover—I didn’t really give much thought to what I was eating or how it affected my body. My diet was just what I was used to, and it felt normal. But that all changed during a flight when I stumbled upon Forks Over Knives on Netflix. The film opened my eyes to the connection between the food we eat and our health, and I realized that my non-vegan diet was contributing to more problems than I wanted to admit. No wonder I was constantly battling high blood pressure, lacked energy, and felt generally sluggish.
Right then and there, I made a commitment to switch to a plant-based lifestyle, and it’s been nearly four years since that life-changing moment. The results were nothing short of remarkable. Not only did I drop 30 kilograms, but I also experienced a dramatic boost in my energy levels. I found myself enjoying activities like jogging again—something I hadn’t done in years! My overall health improved, and I began to feel more connected to the choices I was making every day. It was more than just a diet change—it was a lifestyle transformation.
However, transitioning to veganism wasn’t without its challenges, and I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel when you’re starting out. That’s why I created this website. I wanted to provide a supportive, welcoming place where people could come for real, relatable advice and information on living a vegan lifestyle.
